Job summary
Are you interested in developing and operating a program that helps organizations build or migrate their solutions to the cloud? The AWS Partner team is seeking a Program Manager to lead an international initiative to engage with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) looking to build or migrate solutions on the cloud. We engage with builders to provide them a path to follow from being a net-new AWS project to an established business on the cloud through 1-to-many events, prescriptive business and technical guidance, and collaboration with AWS Solutions Architects.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with international AWS architecture, account management, and marketing teams to build and deliver events that accelerate ISVs adoption of the cloud. You are experienced with program development, communications, reporting, strategy development, execution, and are highly organized. You also have the understanding of the complex business needs of our ISV community and solve them with innovative solutions.

Key job responsibilities
· Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand ISV opportunities and challenges in region.
· Operationalize programs in desired geography, supporting local teams in training, program recruitment, reporting, feature roadmap, and problem resolution.
· Develop and mature mechanisms to deeply understand customer and partner needs, gaps, and opportunities. Work directly within AWS data lakes, and create realtime dashboards for measuring success of your program.
· Create effective communications and program roadmaps that align with regional and worldwide executive stakeholders
· Work with subject matter experts, development partners, and other stakeholders to develop internal content when needed that meets audience and program requirements in creative and engaging ways
· Develop data-driven narrative proposals for new initiatives or evolving programs, including return on investment profile and financial analysis.
15-20% travel to include international locations

·  5+ years of experience in program or project management
·  Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
·  Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
· 6+ years of program management experience in the industry
· 4+ years experience in building and driving successful enablement programs at scale
· 5+ years of experience engaging and influencing technical and business decision makers
· 5+ years of experience presenting and articulating business and technical concepts to cross-functional audiences
· 3+ years of experience in influencing senior executives through data driven analysis and decision making


· Strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences and develop written material for external stakeholders
· Understanding of partner/channel relationships and ISV business strategy
· Understanding of AWS services
· Experience in cloud computing
· Ability to provide creative practical solutions to problems
· Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
