$3,039.71 to $3,343.68 biweekly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  Government Center/Viera.  Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.  Remote work will be considered.  Performs skilled professional work developing solutions requiring analysis and research with multiple departments and technologies.  Works on large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area as a subject matter expert.  Works on one or more projects as a project team member or as a project leader.  May coach more junior professional staff.  Supervision is given to technical personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field PLUS five (5) to eight (8) years of information technology work experience in systems analysis and development in a multi-platform environment for systems analysis and programming; OR Bachelor’s degree in a relative computer-related field PLUS two (2) years of experience as a Brevard County Information Technology Engineer II PLUS a current annual performance evaluation score of 4.0 or higher PLUS successful completion of all of the classes for all three (3) phases of the Brevard County Employee Development Program and receive a passing score on each phase examination.  Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must have experience in the following:  Object-Oriented Programming in C# ASP.NET MVC for business web applications; applied HTML5; JavaScript development exposure; Visual Studio; Windows Server 2008R2 2012 from a developer point-of-view; Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server 2014-2016, SSRS, TSQL, SSIS, Views, and Stored Procedures and Functions; and SDLC, including systems analysis, design and development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.  The following experience is preferred: Source code control, build, and deployment disciplines using Team Foundation Server; Internet Information Services (IIS); AngularJS; Hands-on with ASP.NET Core; developing ASP.NET Web Forms; SharePoint Design; and Web Accessibility using WCAG requirements.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
