The Amazon Pay Global Brand and Content team is looking for a creative and strategic organic social media expert who is ready to take our established social channels to the next level.

This individual will work with agency partners, internal writers and designers, stakeholders across multiple teams and other Amazon businesses to evolve and expand Amazon Pay’s social presence. This role will work across a number of social platforms building affinity for the brand and organically growing our social footprint.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of social media, a proven-track record of planning, delivering and reporting on a range of social media campaigns, and the ability to deliver engaging, high-impact creative that is nuanced and tailored to each channel and the audience it serves. This person should be a multi-tasker, creative thinker and problem solver. The individual should be goal-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity is prevalent. They must also have a passion for innovation and growth. From driving design and content decisions to communicating results to the business and then using learnings to inform future decisions, this role is a challenging mix of strategy and execution.

Key job responsibilities
• Define, execute and track social media strategy
• Collaborate with brand, content, account management, legal, PR and others to optimize engagement and growth
• Manage social media agency relationships, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, etc. and oversee campaign strategies, leading creative ideation to deliver innovative, best-in-class campaigns for customers
• Drive the Influencer program from setting campaign strategy to execution to reporting on results
• Serve as a social expert internally across multiple countries and liaise externally with social platforms on their direction, best practices, and new opportunities
• Maintain deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis and ownership of data touchpoints
• Contribute and present strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership via meetings and document writing
• Develop and own multiple team KPIs for social media strategy to drive results toward our business goals
• Provide thought leadership and guidance for social media best practices such as content publishing guidelines, KPI benchmarks, and channel growth strategies across our organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Communications (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of work experience in marketing/social media, or relevant industry
• 3+ years managing social media channels with demonstrated growth
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience working with enterprise social media management platforms
• Experience working on large, cross-functional marketing programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience running social media for a global brand
• High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders
• Ability to frugally manage external agency partners, insisting on the highest standards while consistently delivering on deadline
